Our innovative BA (Hons) Fashion Management and Marketing degree equips you with the business knowledge and industry insight to thrive in the fast-paced world of fashion.
You’ll gain expertise in fashion buying, merchandising, forecasting, marketing, branding, PR and management strategy, while also developing the presentation, pitching and communication skills that today’s industry demands. WGSN access and digital library resources through UCA – WGSN is a leading trend forecasting platform for fashion and design businesses.
Fashion studios with 24 industrial sewing machines, overlockers and embroidery machines.
Printmaking studio for hands-on experimentation.
Mac studios with 110 Apple iMacs, equipped with software such as GameMaker, Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
BA (Hons) Fashion Management and Marketing is offered by University for the Creative Arts in partnership with LCCA. Students can choose from flexible class schedules such as Weekday, allowing them to balance education with other commitments. The programme is offered in Full Time study modes, ensuring accessibility for learners. It supports various academic pathways, including Level 5 levels, making it suitable for a wide range of students seeking professional or academic advancement. English Language Requirements
- GCSE English at grade C/4 or equivalent · Functional Skills English Level 2. ·
- Duolingo English Test (DET) 85 minimum preferably no minimum per component
- If your first language is not English, you will need an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
Entry Requirements
Foundation Year
The standard entry requirements for foundation year are one of the following:
- 32 new UCAS tariff points, see accepted qualifications
- Merit, Pass, Pass at BTEC Extended Diploma
- Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
- 32 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in an appropriate subject
- 24 points from the International Baccalaureate, see more information about IB entry requirements
And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grade 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2).
Non-Standard Entry
For applicants who do not meet standard academic entry criteria, a flexible entry policy will allow for:
No formal qualifications are required, but applicants must have 2 years of relevant work experience and English proficiency to be able to demonstrate understanding of business analysis, effective time management and working with others.
For any non-standard entry, an interview will be required to assess an applicant’s ability to meet the Level 3 qualification criteria/ benchmark.
Year 1
The standard entry requirements for the three-year course are one of the following:
- 112 new UCAS tariff points
- Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (Level 3 or 4)
- Merit, Pass, Pass at BTEC Extended Diploma
- Merit at UAL Extended Diploma
- 112 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in an appropriate subject
- 27-30 points from the International Baccalaureate
And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grade 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2).
Other relevant and equivalent level 3 UK and international qualifications are considered on an individual basis, and we encourage students from diverse educational backgrounds apply. If your first language is not English, you will need an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
