Course Overview
The CertHE in Business Studies with Foundation Year is designed for students who may not meet the traditional entry requirements but are eager to pursue a career in business. The foundation year equips you with the essential academic skills and subject knowledge needed to progress confidently into the main business course. You’ll be introduced to key areas such as communication, critical thinking, and digital literacy, all within a supportive learning environment that helps ease your transition into higher education.
Once you progress beyond the foundation year, you’ll explore core business topics including leadership, marketing, finance, and management. You’ll develop an understanding of how businesses operate in real-world environments and how internal and external factors influence decision-making. Through practical projects and academic work, you'll improve your ability to analyse problems, research effectively, and communicate with clarity and professionalism—skills that prepare you for both the workplace and further university-level study.
CertHE Business Studies with Foundation is offered by University of Suffolk in partnership with LSC.
