The course is ideal for students looking to gain a CertHE in Business and Management and can be an entry route to either a HE Diploma (Level 5) or to a degree qualification (after completing two additional years of study).
This one-year, full-time programme is particularly suitable for individuals aiming to start their own business or explore entrepreneurial ventures.
You’ll learn about management elements and global external influences on organisations. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply creative thinking to contemporary issues in business and management.
On this course, you’ll develop skills and behaviours which will benefit you in the professional world, such as numeracy, team work and communication skills. You’ll learn to reflect on your professional development and to set goals and objectives as a lifelong learner.
You'll be assessed in a wide range of ways that test your business knowledge and management skills. These could include reflective pieces, reports, essays, presentations and written exams.
CertHE in Business Management is offered by Bath Spa University in partnership with PEN. Students can choose from flexible class schedules such as Weekday, allowing them to balance education with other commitments. The programme is offered in Full Time study modes, ensuring accessibility for learners. It supports various academic pathways, including CertHE levels, making it suitable for a wide range of students seeking professional or academic advancement. Entry Requirements
UK Qualifications Accepted:
• 5 GCSE passes at grade C/4 or above (including Maths and English) OR
• UK Level 3 academic qualification with 60 credits (Foundation Year)
• UK Level 3 academic qualification with 120 credits (Year 1)
International Qualification:
• Equivalent EU/Overseas High School Diploma at Level 3
Note: Foundation Year - Qualifications must be issued within 5 years prior to the course start date
CertHE Higher Education:
• Grade CDD or equivalent at A Level
• 80 UCAS points from a minimum of two level 3 qualifications
• Recognised University Foundation (including integrated) award from BSU or another provider
