English Language Requirements
Proof of English language proficiency is required if English is not the applicant’s first language. Proficiency can be demonstrated through:
· Previously studied qualifications in English.
· GCSE English Language (minimum grade C/4) or equivalent, completed within the last 5 years.
· Other qualifications taught in English, as determined by GBS.
· Accepted tests (valid for 2 years):
· CEFR Level B2 or equivalent:
· Undergraduate: Equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in each element).
· Other tests: TOEFL, Pearson PTE, or GBS internal English assessment (details via GBS admissions).
Entry Requirements
Undergraduate Courses
Foundation Year Entry
Standard Entry:
Level 3 qualification (equivalent to 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points).
Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above or equivalent.
Equivalency of foreign qualifications confirmed by GBS admissions.
Non-Standard Entry:
Mature students (21+): Minimum of 12 months of full-time appropriate professional work experience, supported by references.
Assessed via:
- Interview (listening and speaking skills)
- Numeracy test
- Written personal reflection statement
Additional Notes:
Applicants missing part of standard entry may qualify with relevant experience, assessed case-by-case.
Walk-In Interviews
GBS welcomes walk-in interviews from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. No appointment is necessary—just visit us at your convenience.

- All relevant academic and supporting documents
